1. Who we are

Find My Dupe (“we”, “us”) helps shoppers discover cheaper lookalike alternatives to expensive products. For privacy questions, contact us at muntasirulislam.04@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

Visitors: we do not require accounts and do not ask for your name, email, or address. Your saved favourites and currency choice are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) — they never leave your device.

Site owner login: the private admin area uses email-based login. The login email is stored securely to protect the product catalog from unauthorised edits.

Technical data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and database provider (Supabase) may process basic technical data such as IP addresses and request logs in order to deliver the site securely and reliably.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set advertising cookies ourselves. We use your browser’s local storage for functional purposes only (saved items, currency preference).

Third parties may use cookies or similar technologies:

• Cloudflare (hosting/CDN) — security and performance.
• Supabase (database) — only when the site loads product data.
• Google AdSense (if display ads are enabled) — Google may use cookies to serve and measure ads. See Google’s advertising policies.
• Retailers — when you click “Shop This Dupe”, the retailer’s own privacy policy applies from that point on.

4. Affiliate links

Some outbound product links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link may allow the retailer or affiliate network to attribute the referral to us.

5. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Since we hold almost no visitor data, most requests can be resolved by contacting us at the email above.

US visitors (including California): we do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention and security

Catalog data is retained while the site operates. Admin access is protected by login and database-level access rules so that only the site owner can modify content.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
